So, I just wanted to let you girls know what a huge sacrifice I'm making so that I can run with you all. I am giving up soda...that's right...no more coke for me. Its been really sad and hard but I'm living through it. :0) I decided that the carbonation was killing me when I tried to run and I need to be able to keep up with everyone. I've been a whole 24 hours without a coke and am trying very hard to stay motivated. Wish me luck and good luck to you all!!! Oh and if you have any suggestions as to what I can drink instead of coke I'd appreciate it.

Kudos to you Jen! That was really hard for me to give up the DP, but I promise it will be well worth it. You might not notice the difference right away, but when you get to the long runs you will feel it for sure. Make sure after your long runs to drink a gatorade after to replenish your electrolytes.
